Road Trip To Food Trucks

What better way to spend a Saturday then to jump in your car and drive up to a local scenic view, aka Pilot Mountain? With nothing on my table to do (besides maybe the laundry, cleaning my room, and the endless trainings for work) and an empty stomach, I embarked on a short road trip up to beautiful Pilot Mountain for a day of good food and attempts at socializing. This Saturday, the local knob shaped mountain hosted a ‘Pig Out Food Truck Rodeo’ which featured ready trucks that carried foods of all sorts to be sold covering each strip of the square. The Rodeo also featured artists from around the area to serenade the foodies as they basked in the variety of eateries offered.

All together I can definitely say it was a day well spent with good food and even better people. How did you spend your Saturday?

  1. I love food truck rodeos. All the best eats brought together for your easy convenience. If you had a good time at this one. You need to check out Raleigh’s food truck rodeo. It is held once a quarter or so in downtown Raleigh. Try to plan to come to the one in October. The weather will be great so you can really enjoy hanging out downtown and eating til your heart is content.
